Gucci Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Femme was never on my radar. A beautiful soul from our Aussie fragrance community tucked a sample into my parcel and one random day, I reached for it… maybe it was the hypnotic purple bottle calling my name.
Safe to say, I was absolutely not prepared.
In fact, I love this fragrance so much that I accidentally fell asleep with the decant tucked into my pyjama pocket. Like some sort of perfume goblin, I apparently couldn't bear to part with it. If that isn't a glowing review, I don't know what is.
This isn't your fresh, airy floral. She's deep, creamy and utterly luxurious. Think gooey golden amber wrapped in the softest cashmere blanket, with rich velvety florals and a dark fruity sweetness that feels almost like warm tree sap dripping through an enchanted garden. The violet and mandora give a gorgeous opening, while wisteria, rose and osmanthus create this decadent floral heart before melting into the most beautiful blend of tonka, vanilla and patchouli.
It's warm. It's comforting. It's sensual without trying too hard. It's delicious while somehow still feeling incredibly elegant.
Honestly? Gucci absolutely nailed this one. She feels like the fragrance equivalent of a long hug from someone you love while wearing your favourite cashmere knit.
If you've been sleeping on Gucci Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Femme… consider this your sign to sample it. I certainly didn't expect to fall this hard. Apparently, neither did my pyjamas. 💜✨
