I found this beauty completely by chance… honestly, it felt like destiny haha ✨
A half-full sample vial of Pas Ce Soir by BDK Parfums was randomly added to an order I received, and if I’m being honest, I was deeply skeptical. My relationship with BDK Parfums had already been… traumatic.
You see, early in my fragrance journey I got my nose on Impadia by BDK Parfums. The bottle was gorgeous. The hype was HUGE. She was viral. I thought this was going to be my sophisticated Parisian main character moment.
So naturally… I blind bought her.
And then?
What in the holy fuckballs was THAT.
Spicy. Incense. Chaos. I was personally offended. Emotionally damaged. Olfactorily assaulted. I needed therapy and a support group. I basically gave BDK the middle finger and dramatically exited stage left.
So when I saw this tiny little half-used vial of Pas Ce Soir sitting there looking innocent, I had absolutely zero expectations. In fact, I had mentally prepared myself for another violent sensory attack.
But holy heck.
The SECOND I sprayed Pas Ce Soir… it was like BDK wrapped me in a velvet blanket, apologised sincerely for my previous suffering, and said:
“Babe… we can fix this.”
And fix it they did.
I wore that remaining 0.2ml like it was the last fragrance on earth. I was sniffing myself every 14 seconds like an absolute feral little goblin. Completely obsessed.
And now? Pas Ce Soir became THAT fragrance. The one that shifted my signature scent journey and reminded me:
- don’t judge a fragrance by its house sister
- don’t let one bad blind buy ruin a brand
- and sometimes your unexpected sample ends up becoming your soulmate fragrance ✨
You genuinely never know when you’re about to discover your gem.
xx Rach 💕
