Sweet was one of the very first fragrances that pulled me away from the mainstream designer and celebrity perfumes I grew up loving. I was always drawn to the classics we all know and adore — think Si by Giorgio Armani and Black Opium by YSL (which I still absolutely love, by the way ✨).
But Sweet was different.
She was a blind buy. I walked into Mecca and the bottle colour caught my eye first. Then the name sealed the deal — I’ve always had a soft spot for sweet florals. Truthfully, I didn’t even sample her in store. I’ve always felt a little overwhelmed and pressured testing fragrances in busy stores, so I took the leap and bought her blindly… and that was the beginning of my Ellis Brooklyn obsession.
Sweet is soft, feminine and beautifully understated. She doesn’t hit the way her name suggests. She isn’t loud or overly sugary. Instead, she’s balanced — a delicate sweet floral that feels playful and modern while still being mature, polished and confident.
She’s the kind of fragrance that works for everything. Easy to wear, never cloying, softly addictive and honestly far deeper than her name first implies 💕
A true all-rounder in my collection ✨
