Carnal Flower by Frédéric Malle is an intoxicating, sensual white floral built around an exceptionally high concentration of natural tuberose absolute. Created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion, it captures both sides of tuberose: fresh, green and almost innocent at first, then creamy, milky and deeply seductive as it develops on the skin.
The fragrance opens with watery melon and crisp vegetal freshness before revealing its spectacular tuberose heart. The flower becomes progressively richer and more voluptuous, with subtle camphoraceous and spicy facets providing contrast. Milky notes and soft white musk smooth the composition into a creamy, skin-like drydown while allowing the tuberose to remain unmistakably at the centre.
