Tam Dao Eau de Parfum by Diptyque is a beautifully smooth, meditative woody fragrance built around creamy sandalwood. Inspired by Diptyque co-founder Yves Coueslant’s childhood memories of the sacred forests and temples of Vietnam, it captures the velvety warmth of sandalwood surrounded by dry cedar and aromatic spices.
The fragrance centres on rich sandalwood, with cedar adding structure and cypress bringing an aromatic freshness. Coriander introduces a gently spicy quality that enhances the creamy, almost milky character of the woods. Compared with Tam Dao Eau de Toilette, the Eau de Parfum feels deeper, warmer and more enveloping, while retaining the serene simplicity that makes Tam Dao so distinctive. Diptyque officially highlights sandalwood, cedar, cypress and coriander in the EDP.
